The Flowers of Memory

A poem in the Perso-Arabic style, recalling the lush gardens of Persia, where the scent and vibrant colors of exquisite flowers dance in the breeze. Flowers hold a special place in the hearts of its people, and as the scribe ponders in the candlelight his works unfolds on the page recalling tales of love and passion that have filled our lives since the dawn of creation. From the delicate petals of the jasmine to the majestic presence of the gardenias, each flower tells a story which is captured in the lines as they pour out on the page forming a resilient and rich tapestry of Persian culture.
