Why Dentistry As aA Career


Written for students pursuing pre-dentistry at The Master's University or other colleges, Dr. McLeod's "Why Dentistry" covers dental specialties, shadowing, dental education, a changing profession, an overview of famous dentists and great medical discoveries, as well as an early history of dentistry, anatomy, and more.

The Pre-Dental Pogram at T.M.U. covered the scientfic basics perfectly well but did not have a motivating emphasis on why pursuing dentistry as a career can be such a secure and conforting choice. Having spoken with the presidet of the University, Dr Abner Chou, I began teaching basic clinical anatomy, but rapidly saw that my favourite subjects were not being covered in the course. So here is a collaboration with Dr Chou adding Doctrinal statements and the essetiality of Biblical Studies, and my own insertion of the history of dentistry and the why that treatments have evolved.
